(2Corinthians 10:5~6 권세) casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 생각을 주 앞에 복종케 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 바울은 고린도교회 성도들에게 그들을 대면하면 유순하고 떠나있으면 담대한 바울은 온유와 관용으로 그들에게 권한다 하며 바울을 육신으로 대하는 자에게 담대히 대하는 것 같이 대하지 않기를 구한다고 하고 바울은 육신을 떠나 싸우지 아니하며 어떤 견고한 진도 무너뜨리는 하나님의 능력을 따라하며, 이 능력은 모든 이론을 파하는 능력이며 모든 생각을 사로잡아 그리스도께 복종케 한다고 했다. 또한 그들의 복종이 온전하게 될 때에 복종치 않는 것을 벌하려고 준비중에 있다 하며 주님 주신 권세는 세우기 위함이라 했다. 아멘

God is the One who makes the thoughts of His children subject to Him. In today's passage, Paul exhorts the believers in the Corinthian church with gentleness and tolerance; he is meek when he is with them and bold when he is away. He asks that they not treat him boldly as they would treat someone who treats him in the flesh. Paul states that he does not fight apart from the flesh, but acts according to the power of God that demolishes any stronghold. He says this power is one that destroys every argument and takes every thought captive to obey Christ. Furthermore, he says that when their obedience is complete, he is ready to punish disobedience, and that the authority given by the Lord is for the purpose of establishing. Amen.
