(Jeremiah 51:16 선포) When He utters His voice-There is a multitude of waters in the heavens: "He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings of the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries." 하나님은 주의 자녀를 위해 주의 목소리를 발하시며 권능을 베푸시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 주께서 멸망시키시는 자의 심령을 부추겨 바벨론을 칠 것이라 하시며 무리가 갈대아 사람의 땅에서 죽임당해 엎드러질 것이라 하고 이스라엘과 유다는 바벨론에서 도망해나와 생명을 구원할 것인데 이 때는 여호와의 보복의 때라 하였다. 또한 뭇 민족이 바벨론 금 잔의 포도주에 취하여 미쳤다고 하고 여호와께서 공의를 드러내셨기 때문에 '우리 하나님 여호와의 일을 선포하자'라고 하였다. 또한 주께서 메대 왕들의 마음을 부추겨서 이 일을 행하실 것이라 하고 재물이 많은 자는 그 한계가 왔다고 하였다. 주의 크신 행사를 찬양한다.
