하나님 나라 이야기를 가지는 자녀 되게 하소서
 
우리 삶의 이야기의 주인이신 하나님, 자녀 안에 하나님의 이야기가 흘러가기를 원합니다.
 
세상의 조건과 기준을 향해 의미 없는 달음질을 멈출 수 있는 용기를 주시고, 먼저 하나님의 이야기에 귀를 기울이게 해 주옵소서.
 
야곱의 하나님, 요셉의 하나님, 모세의 인생과 다윗의 인생에 함께 하셨던 하나님의 이야기가 자녀의 안에도 있게 하옵소서.
 
그 이야기들이 자녀의 삶에 영향을 미치고, 능력이 되어서 그 이야기의 일부분을 이루며 이어나가는 삶을 살아가게 되기를 원합니다.
 
또한 하나님의 놀라우신, 위대한 이야기들 가운데 예수 그리스도의 구원의 이야기가 우리 자녀의 삶에서 가장 소중한 이야기가 되게 하옵소서.
 
자녀가 먼저 용모가 아름답고, 모든 지식과 지혜에 통달하기 원하는 기도를 하기보다 자녀를 위해 구하고 바라는 것들, 그 안에 하나님의 이야기가 없다면 기꺼이 포기할 수 있는 기도를 드릴 수 있게 하옵소서.
 
스펙의 열풍 속에서도 여전히 아직 쓰여지지 않은 하나님 나라의 백성들의 이야기를 만들어 가는 아이가 되게 하옵소서.

May we be children who possess the story of God's kingdom.

God, the master of our lives' stories, may your story flow within our children.

Give us the courage to stop our meaningless pursuit of worldly conditions and standards, and allow us to listen to your story first.

May the story of God, the God of Jacob and Joseph, and the story of you who were with Moses and David, be present within our children.

May these stories influence and empower our children, allowing them to live lives that are part of and continue within that story.

Furthermore, among God's amazing and magnificent stories, may the story of salvation through Jesus Christ become the most precious story in our children's lives.

Rather than praying for our children to be beautiful and possess all knowledge and wisdom, may we be willing to give up the things we desire and ask for if they don't contain your story.

Even amidst the craze for qualifications, may our children create the stories of the people of God's kingdom, stories that remain unwritten.
