비교하지 않는 부모 되게 하소서
 
인생의 주인 되신 하나님, 하나님의 식별을 따르지 않고 늘 제 소견에 옳은 대로 저만의 방식을 고집하며 살았던 교만을 용서하여 주옵소서.
 
또한 자녀가 충분히 존귀하게 여김을 받아야 함에도 불구하고 수많은 조건들로 그 아이의 가치를 평가하고, 수많은 비교들로 마음에 깊은 상처를 남긴 폭력의 죄를 용서하여 주옵소서.
 
하나님께서 이미 그 아이에게 부어 주신 은사를 찾아 하나님의 뜻대로 즐거이 인생을 살아가도록 돕는 조력자가 되라 하셨는데, 오히려 저희 방식대로 자녀의 삶을 조각하려 하는 주권자의 삶을 살았음을 고백합니다.
 
이제는 자녀를 향한 하나님의 선하신 뜻이 있음을 믿으며 다른 자녀와 비교하기를 멈추게 하옵소서.
 
하나님께서 이미 그려놓으신 그림을 함께 바라보며 기쁨의 여정을 함께 달려가는 동반자가 되게 하옵소서.

Help us be parents who do not compare ourselves.

God, the Master of life, forgive my pride for not following Your discernment and for always insisting on my own way, following what I believed was right.

Furthermore, forgive the sin of violence that left deep wounds in my heart by judging my child's worth based on countless conditions and comparing myself to others, even though my child deserves full respect.

God has already called us to be helpers who help our children discover the gifts He has given them and live joyfully according to His will. Instead, I confess that we have lived as sovereign parents, trying to shape our children's lives according to our own ways.

Now, trust in God's good will for our children and stop comparing them to others.

Let us become companions who walk together on the journey of joy, gazing upon the picture God has already painted.
