자녀가 삶의 의미(가치)와 소명을 깨닫게 하소서
 
우리 모든 한 사람 한 사람을 위한 목적과 계획을 가지시고, 그에 맞는 능력과 사명을 주신 하나님, 지금 이 시대가 하나님의 풍성하고 다양한 창조를 거스르며 오직 성취와 성적만으로 사람을 판단하고 평가하고 있습니다.
 
무엇보다 사랑을 배우고, 자신만의 고유한 인생의 목적, 나에게 주어진 멋과 사명을 발견하고 길러야 할 우리의 자녀들이 좋은 성적을 위해 좋은 학교, 좋은 대학을 바라보며 몸과 마음 그리고 영혼이 고통 받고 병들어 가고 있습니다.
 
주님, 성취와 결과, 성적만으로 사람을 판단하고 평가하는 세상의 흐름을 고쳐 주시고, 사람을 제대로 보지 못하는 저의 왜곡된 눈과 거짓 가치관을 바르게 회복시켜 주옵소서.
 
그리하여 하나님이 모든 사람을 만드실 때 목적하시고 소망하신 대로 자녀들이 저마다의 자리에서 자신의 멋을 펼치게 하시고, 하나님의 부르심에 응답하는 학교와 사회, 나라가 되게 하옵소서.

May my children realize the meaning (value) and calling of life.

God, who has a purpose and plan for each of us, and has given us the abilities and missions that fit each one, today's world is going against Your abundant and diverse creation, judging and evaluating people solely based on their achievements and grades.

Our children, who should learn love above all else, discover and cultivate their own unique life purpose, their own unique charm and calling, are suffering and becoming ill in body, mind, and soul as they look to prestigious schools and universities for good grades.

Lord, correct the world's tendency to judge and evaluate people solely based on achievements, results, and grades. Correct my distorted perspective and false values that prevent me from seeing people clearly.

Thus, may my children flourish in their own unique positions, just as You intended and desired when You created all people. May our schools, society, and nation respond to Your calling.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
