(Ezekiel 8:8~9권능) He said to me, “Son of man, now dig into the wall.” So I dug into the wall and saw a doorway there. And he said to me, “Go in and see the wicked and detestable things they are doing here.” 하나님은 주의 자녀에게 세상의 악을 보이시고 죄를 드러내시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 에스겔이 유다 장로들과 함께 있을 때에 주 여호와의 권능이 에스겔에게 내렸는데 에스겔이 불같은 형상을 보고 그가 손같은 것을 펴서 에스겔의 머리털 한 모숨을 잡고 주의 영이 그를 들어 천지 사이로 올리셨으며 하나님의 환상 가운데 에스겔을 이끌어 예루살렘으로 가서 안뜰 북향한 문에 이르렀는데 질투의 우상이 있는 곳이었다. 또한 주께서 에스겔에게 이스라엘 족속이 크게 가증한 일을 행하고 있음을 지적하시며, 이스라엘 족속의 모든 우상을 그린 사방 벽을 보여주셨는데 장로 칠십명이 그 앞에 향로를 들고 서 있었다. 아멘

God is the One who reveals the world's evil and reveals sin to His children. In today's passage, while Ezekiel was with the elders of Judah, the hand of the Lord came upon him. Ezekiel saw a vision as of fire, and the Lord stretched out his hand and took hold of a lock of his head. Then the Spirit of the Lord lifted him up between heaven and earth. In a vision, God led Ezekiel to Jerusalem and to the north gate of the inner court, where the idol of jealousy was. The Lord also pointed out to Ezekiel the great abominations the Israelites were committing, and showed him a wall surrounded by paintings depicting all the idols of the Israelites. Seventy elders stood before it, holding censers. Amen.
