(Ezekiel 14:23 소행) And they will comfort you, when you see their ways and their doings; and you shall know that I have done nothing without cause that I have done in it," says the Lord GOD. 하나님은 주의 자녀에게 위로를 베푸시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 이스라엘 장로 두어사람이 에스겔 앞에 왔는데 주의 말씀이 임하여 이스라엘 족속 중에 우상을 마음에 들이며 죄악의 걸림돌들을 자기 앞에 두고 선지자에게 가는 모든 자에게 주께서 그들의 우상의 수효대로 보응하실 것이라고 하며 이스라엘 족속이 우상으로 그것을 그들 마음에 두고 주를 배방하였기 때문이라고 하였다. 또한 주께서 유혹을 받고 예언하는 선지자들을 이스라엘 가운데서 멸하실 것이라 하시며 주께서 이스라엘 족속이 다시 스스로 더럽히지 않게 하시고 주의 백성을 삼으실 것이라고 하고 그들이 주의 소행을 보고 위로를 받을 것이라 했다. 아멘

God is the One who gives comfort to His children. In today's passage, some elders of Israel came before Ezekiel, and the word of the Lord came to them: "The Lord will repay all those among the Israelites who set up idols in their hearts and put before themselves the stumbling blocks of their iniquity and go to the prophets, according to the number of their idols." He said that the Israelites had set up idols in their hearts and had rejected Him. He also said that the Lord would destroy from Israel the prophets who had been deceived and prophesied. He would not allow the Israelites to defile themselves any more but would make them His own people. They would see His works and be comforted. Amen.
