그릇된 미디어 문화를 회복시키소서
 
우리에게 선한 것을 주시기를 기뻐하시는 하나님, 하나님께서 인간의 지식과 지혜를 사용하여 만드신 미디어를 통해 이루어진 선한 일들이 참으로 많이 있는데, 요즘 사이버공간 안에서 이루어지는 많은 암울한 현실을 듣고 볼 때마다 마음이 아픕니다.
 
우리의 자녀들이 온라인 게임, 스마트 폰, SNS 등에 중독된 듯 미디어 세계에 빠져 있습니다.
 
그 공간에서 나오지 못하고 자신을 가둔 채 소통하지 않는 자녀들이 나무나 많이 있습니다.
 
가정과 학교마다 미디어 문화가 건전하게 회복되기를 바라는 사람들은 많이 있지만 그 달콤한 유혹에서 쉽사리 벗어나지 못하는 우리를 긍휼히 여겨 주옵소서.
 
주님, 이 땅의 그릇된 미디어 문화가 회복될 수 있도록 자비와 긍휼을 베풀어 주옵소서.
 
호기심과 창의력이 뛰어난 우리의 자녀들이 미디어를 통해 왜곡된 사회성을 배우지 않고, 건강하게 소통하게 하시고, 미디어에 이용당하기보다 미디어를 건강하게 이용하게 하옵소서.
 
또한 부모 세대인 저와 우리가 그릇된 문화를 거슬러 건전한 미디어 문화를 형성하게 하옵소서.

Restore our distorted media culture.

God, who delights in giving us good things, there are so many good things accomplished through the media You created using human knowledge and wisdom. However, my heart aches whenever I hear or see the many dark realities taking place in cyberspace these days.

Our children are immersed in the media world, seemingly addicted to online games, smartphones, and social media.

There are countless children who are unable to escape this world, confined to it and unable to communicate.

Many people in our homes and schools long for a healthy restoration of media culture, but please have mercy on us who find it difficult to escape its sweet temptations.

Lord, please grant us mercy and compassion so that the distorted media culture of this land can be restored.

Please help our children, who are gifted with curiosity and creativity, to learn healthy communication skills through media, not to learn distorted social behaviors, and to use media in a healthy way rather than being manipulated by it.

Also, please help me and the parents' generation to resist this distorted culture and establish a healthy media culture. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
