God is the one who receives worship through His children. In today's text, the Lord God instructed Ezekiel to close the gate of the inner court toward the east for six working days, and on the Sabbath day it is opened, and on the first day of the new moon it is opened. The prince shall enter by the portico of the outer gate and offer a thank offering. The prince shall worship in the passageway of the gate and then go out by the outer gate. The gate shall not be closed until evening. The people of the land shall worship the Lord at the entrance of this gate on the Sabbaths and on the first day of the new moon. On the Sabbath day the prince shall offer to the Lord six lambs without blemish and a ram without blemish. He shall also offer every morning a year-old lamb without blemish. Amen.
