(Hosea 9:15 무화과) “All their wickedness is in Gilgal, For there I hated them. Because of the evil of their deeds I will drive them from My house; I will love them no more. All their princes are rebellious. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 위하여 지도자를 거룩하게 지키시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '이스라엘아 너는 이방 사람처럼 기뻐 뛰놀지 말라'고 하시며, 새 포도주가 떨어질 것이며 그들이 여호와의 땅에 거주하지 못하고, 그들은 여호와께 부어드리지 못하고 여호와께서 기뻐하시는 바도 되지 못할 것이라고 했다. 또한 그들이 멸망을 피해 갈지라도 그들의 은은 찔레에 덮이고 그들의 장막은 가시덩굴이 퍼질 것이라 하며 형벌의 날이 온 것을 이스라엘이 알게될 것이라 했다. 에브라임과 그 선지자들이 기브아의 시대같이 심히 부패하였기 때문에 그 영광이 새같이 날아갈 것이라 했다. 아멘

God is the One who keeps leaders holy for the sake of His children. In today's text, He says, "Do not leap for joy, Israel, like the Gentiles," and that the new wine will fail, that they will not live in the Lord's land, that they will not pour out offerings to the Lord, and that they will not be pleasing to Him. Furthermore, even if they escape destruction, their silver will be covered with thorns, and their tents will be overgrown with thorns. Israel will know that the day of punishment has come. Because Ephraim and its prophets have become deeply corrupted, like the days of Gibeah, their glory will fly away like a bird. Amen.
