기독학부모로 서게 하소서
 
살아계신 하나님, 부족한 저에게 믿음을 선물로 주시고, 귀한 하나님의 사람인 자녀를 키울 수 있도록 부모로 세워주시니 감사합니다.
 
또한 이 땅 교육의 아픔을 보며 교육을 새롭게 할 희망을 품은 기독학부모로 세워주시니 더욱 감사를 드립니다.
 
부모로 살아가면서 들려오는 세속적인 방법에 솔깃할 때도 있었고, 우리 아이에게 유리한 것이라면 그 세속의 물줄기를 타고서라도 유익과 만족을 얻으려고 할 때도 있었습니다.
 
그러나 정말 하나님은 교육의 황폐함에 애통해하고 계시며 그것을 회복할 부모를 기다리시고 계심을 믿고 나아가는 기독학부모가 되길 다짐합니다.
 
단순히 교회에 다니는 부모가 되지 않겠습니다.
 
단순히 학업이 우상이 되어 좌우 방향 없이 흔들리며 성적에만 매달리지 않겠습니다.
 
주님의 시선과 주님의 방법으로 우리 자녀를 살펴보겠습니다.
 
모든 사람이 서로 다른 생각을 갖고는 있지만 하나님 나라의 교육 회복에 선한 뜻과 의지를 갖고 하나의 마음을 가지고 기도할 동역자를 만나게 하셔서 '혼자'가 아닌 '공동체'로 서게 하옵소서.
 
부모인 우리가 아무리 해도 안 된다는 나약함과 좌절의 벽에서 일어나 기독학부모의 건전한 공동체를 이루게 하옵소서.

Please help me stand as a Christian parent.

Living God, thank you for giving me, despite my shortcomings, the gift of faith and for establishing me as a parent to raise precious children who are God's people.

I am even more grateful that you have established me as a Christian parent, filled with hope for a renewed education, having witnessed the pain of education in this land.

As a parent, there were times when I was tempted by worldly methods, and there were times when I sought to gain benefit and satisfaction by following those worldly paths if it was beneficial to my children.

However, I pledge to become a Christian parent who believes that God truly grieves over the devastation of education and waits for parents to restore it.

I will not simply be a parent who attends church.

I will not idolize academics, wavering aimlessly, obsessed with grades.

I will examine my children through the Lord's eyes and His methods.

Although everyone has different perspectives, please help us find co-workers who share the same desire and will to restore education in God's kingdom, and who pray with one heart, so that we can stand as a "community" rather than "alone."

Please help us, as parents, rise above the wall of weakness and frustration that we feel we can't do it no matter what we do, and form a healthy community of Christian parents.
