(Matthew 4:18~19 천국) And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and  I will make you fishers of men.” 하나님은 주의 자녀로 하여금 사람낚는 어부를 삼으시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 예수께서 성령에 이끌리어 시험을 받으러 광야에 가셨는데 시험하는 자가 예수께 돌들로 떡덩이가 되게 하라 하니 예수께서 사람이 떡만이 아니라 모든 말씀으로 살 것이라 하셨다. 또한 마귀가 예수님을 거룩한 산 꼭대기에서 뛰어내리라 하니 예수께서 하나님을 시험치 말라 하셨다. 마귀가 지극히 높은 산에서 예수님께 자신에게 경배하면 천하의 영광을 주리라 하시니 예수께서 사탄아 물러가라 하시며 다만 하나님을 섬기라 하셨다. 예수께서 스불론과 납달리 지경에 사시며 '회개하라 천국이 가까이 왔느니라'하시고 베드로와 형제 안드레를 부르시니 그들이 그물을 버리고 예수님을 따랐다. 아멘

God is the One who makes His children fishers of men. In today's passage, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted. The tempter asked Jesus to turn stones into bread, but Jesus replied that man lives not by bread alone but by every word. The devil threatened to throw Himself down from the highest mountain, but Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Do not tempt God." The devil then said to Jesus, "I will give all the glory of the world if you worship me." Jesus rebuked him, "Get behind me, Satan!" and told him to serve only God. Jesus, living in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali, said, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near." He called Peter and his brother Andrew, and they left their nets and followed Him. Amen.
