7월 첫날의 기도
 
흰 구름 뭉게 뭉게 피는 하늘, 은빛 찬란한 강물, 청포도 상쾌한 맛을 누리도록 하신 주님을 찬양합니다.
 
은혜의 반이 지나고 새롭게 시작되는 7월에도 하나님의 은혜가 가정과 교회, 학교와 이 사회에 가득하기를 소원합니다.
 
이 땅 모든 교육의 길에 하나님의 성품으로 회복된 자녀들이 가득하게 하옵소서.
 
우리 자녀들이 성령안에서 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 성품의 사람이 되기를 구하오니 예수님께서 십자가에서 이루신 회복의 놀라운 은혜가 자녀의 삶속에 임하고, 그 은혜에 대한 응답으로서 성령의 열매를 맺는 삶이 뒤따르게 하옵소서.
 
하나님이 선물로 주시는 성품의 열매가 교육의 영역에서 기꺼이 보여지고 가르쳐지게 하옵소서.
 
가정과 교회, 학교에서 한 학기 동안 열심히 달려온 우리의 자녀들을 축복하여 주시고, 학업 가운데 진리를 발견하고 장차 나아가야 할 길들을 생각하는 일상들이 이루어지게 하옵소서.
 
여름 방학을 맞이하게 하신 하나님!
 
쉼과 충전의 시간을 주셨사오니 학기 중에 갖지 못했던 시간들을 짜임새 있게 보낼 수 있도록 하여 주옵소서.
 
특히 교회 공동체 가운데 이루어지는 신앙훈련의 여정 속에 주님이 동행하여 주셔서 주님을 더 깊이 알아가고 만나는 귀한 시간이 되게 하옵소서.
 
예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Prayer for the First Day of July

I praise the Lord for allowing us to enjoy the sky where white clouds billow, the rivers shimmering with silver, and the refreshing taste of green grapes.

As the first half of our grace has passed and a new beginning begins in July, I pray that God's grace will fill our homes, churches, schools, and this society.

May the path of education in this land be filled with children restored to God's character.

I pray that our children become people of character that pleases God in the Holy Spirit; may the amazing grace of restoration accomplished by Jesus on the cross come upon their lives, and may a life bearing the fruit of the Spirit follow as a response to that grace.

May the fruit of character, which God gives as a gift, be willingly displayed and taught in the realm of education.

Bless our children who have run diligently through the past semester in their homes, churches, and schools, and may their daily lives be filled with discovering the truth amidst their studies and contemplating the paths they must take in the future.

God, who has brought us to summer vacation!

You have granted us time for rest and rejuvenation; please allow us to spend the time we could not have during the semester in a well-organized manner.

In particular, may the Lord accompany us on the journey of faith training taking place within the church community, making this a precious time to come to know and encounter You more deeply.

I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
