(35:6)So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the Passover and, to offer burnt offerings on the altar of the LORD, according to the command of King Josiah.

35장에서는 요시야가 여호와께 유월절을 지키고 첫째달 열넷째날에 유월절 어린 양을 잡았으며 그가 제사장들에게 그들의 직분을 맡기고 격려하여 여호와의 전에서 직무를 수행하게 하며 여호와 앞에서 구별되어 온 이스라엘을 가르치는 레위 사람에게 거룩한 궤를 이스라엘 왕 솔로몬이 건축한 전 가운데 두고 그들의 어께에 메지 말고 마땅히 여호와와 그 백성 이스라엘을 섬길 것이라고 하였다. 요시야가 모인 모든 사람들 중 백성들에게 자기 소유 양떼 중 어린 양과 어린 염소 삼만 마리와 수소 삼천 마리를 내어 유월절 제물로 주었으며 레위 사람의 우두머리들 곧 고나냐와 스마야와 느다넬과 하사뱌, 여이엘, 요사밧은 양 오천 마리 등을 주었다.


(36:22)Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying,

36장에서는 요시야의 아들 여호아하스가 예루살렘에서 왕이 되어 석달을 다스렸는데 애굽 왕이 그를 폐하고 그의 형제 엘리아김을 유다와 예루살렘 왕으로 삼고 그의 이름을 여호야김이라 하였다. 여호야김이 예루살렘에서 십일년 동안 다스리고 그의 하나님 보시기에 악을 행하였으며 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 올라와서 그를 치고 바벨론으로 데려가며 여호와의 전 기구도 바벨론으로 가져가 자기 산당에 두었다. 그의 아들 여호야긴이 대신 왕이 되어 예루살렘에서 석달 열흘동안 다스렸으며 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하였다. 느부갓네살 왕이 사람을 보내 여호야긴을 바빌론으로 잡아가고 숙부 시드기야를 왕의로 삼았으며 고레스 원년에 회복시키셨다.


(Ezra 1:3)Who is among you of all His people? May his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel(He is God), which is in Jerusalem.

1장에서는 바사 왕 고레스 원년에 여호와께서 예레미야를 통해 하신 말씀을 이루시기 위하여 왕의 마음을 감동시키시매 그가 공포하여 유다 예루살렘 성전을 건축하라고 하고 이스라엘 백성들을 예루살렘으로 올라가게 하였다. 또한, 해당 지역의 사람들이 그들에게 물건과 짐승을 위하여 도와주고 또한 하나님의 성전을 위해 예물을 기쁘게 드릴 것이라고 하였다. 유다와 베냐민 족장들과 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 마음이 감동된 자들이 여호와의 성전을 건축하고자 다 일어났고 그 사면 사람들이 은 그릇과 금 그릇과 물품과 짐승과 보물로 도왔다. 고레스 왕이 여호와의 성전 그릇을  꺼내어 유다 총독 세스바살에게 넘겨 주었다.


(2:61)and of the sons of the priests: the son of Habaiah, the sons of Koz, and the sons of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called by their name.
2장에서는 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살에게 사로잡혀 바벨론으로 갔던 자들의 자손 중에 놓임을 받고 예루살렘과 유다 도로 돌아온 자들은 스룹바벨과 예수아와 느헤미야와 스라야 등이었다. 또한 그들과 함께 바로스 자손, 스바댜 자손, 아라 자손, 바핫모압 자손, 엘람 자손, 삿두 자손, 삭개 자손, 바니 자손, 브배 자손, 아스갓 자손, 이도 니감 자손, 비그왜 자손, 아딘 자손, 아델 자손, 베세 자손, 요라 자손, 하숨 자손, 깁발 자손, 베들레헴 사람, 느도바 사람, 아나돗 사람, 아스마 자손, 기랴다임과   그비라와 브에롯 자손, 라마와 게바 자손, 믹마스 사람, 벧엘과 아이, 느보 사람,  막비스 사람 등이 돌아왔다.


(3:2)Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and his brethren, arose and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the Law of Moses the man of God.

3장에서는 이스라엘 자손이 일곱째 달에 일제히 예루살렘에 모였는데 요사닥의   아들 예수아와 그의 형제 제사장들과 스룹바벨과 그 형제들이 다 일어나 하나님의 제단을 만들고 모든 무리들과 함께 아침과 저녁으로 번제를 드리고 규례대로 초막절을 지켰다. 또한, 항상 드리는 번제와 모든 절기의 번제를 여호와께 드렸으나   여호와의 성전 지대는 미처 놓지 못하였다. 이에 석수와 목수에게 돈을 주고 시돈 사람과 두로 사람에게 먹을 것을 주고 백향목을 레바논에서 욥바 해변까지 운송  하게 했다. 스룹바벨과 예수아와 다른 형제들이 공사를 시작하고 레위 사람들을  시켜 성전 공사를 감독하게 하였으며 제사장들은 예복을 입고 여호와를 찬송하였다.


(4:3)But Zerubbabel and Jeshua and the rest of the heads of the father's houses of Israel said to them, "You may do nothing with us to build a house for our God; but we alone will build to the LORD God of Israel, as King Cyrus the king of Persia commanded us."

4장에서는 사로잡혔던 자들의 자손이 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 성전을 건축한다 함을 유다와 베냐민 대적이 듣고 스룹바벨과 족장들에게 자신들도 그들과 함께   건축하게 해 줄것을 요청하였으나 거절당하자 그 땅 백성이 유다 백성의 손을 약하게 해 건축을 방해하고 바사왕 다리오가 즉위할 때까지 뇌물을 주어 그 계획을   막았으며, 아하수에로가 즉위할 때에 유다와 예루살렘 주님을 고발하며, 아닥사스다 왕에게 유다 사람들이 패역하고 악한 성읍을 이미 건축하였으며 이 성읍이 건축  되면 조공과 관세와 통행세를 바치지 않아 왕에게 손해가 될 것이라 하였다. 이에 아닥사스다 왕이 공사를 그치게 하라고 명하매 다리오 이년까지 중단되었다.

2 Chronicles 35-Ezra 4


(35:6) So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the Passover and, to offer burnt offerings on the altar of the LORD, according to the command of King Josiah.

In chapter 35, Josiah kept the Passover to the Lord, and on the 14th day of the first month he slaughtered the Lamb of the Passover, and he entrusted their office to the priests and encouraged them to serve in the house of the Lord, a Levite who teaches all Israel, set apart before the Lord. He told them that he would place the holy ark in the middle of the temple built by King Solomon of Israel, and not put it on their shoulders, but to serve the Lord and his people Israel. Of all the people Josiah gathered, he offered to the people thirty thousand lambs, thirty thousand young goats, and three thousand bulls out of his own flock, and gave them for the Passover offerings, and the chiefs of the Levites: Konaniah, Shemaiah, Nethanel, Hasabiah, Jeiel, and Jozaphat. Gave five thousand sheep and so on.


(36:22) Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying,

In chapter 36, Josiah's son Jehoahaz became king in Jerusalem and reigned for three months.The king of Egypt abolished him and made his brother Eliakim king of Judah and Jerusalem, and his name was Jehoiakim. Jehoiakim reigned in Jerusalem for eleven years, and did evil in the sight of his God. Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up and struck him and took him to Babylon. His son Jehoiachin took over as king and reigned in Jerusalem for three months and ten days, and he did evil in the sight of the LORD. King Nebuchadnezzar sent a man and took Jehoiachin to Babylon, made his uncle Zedekiah king, and restored it in the first year of Cyrus.


(Ezra 1:3) Who is among you of all His people? May his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel(He is God), which is in Jerusalem.

In Chapter 1, in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, the Lord moved the heart of the king to fulfill what he said through Jeremiah, and he proclaimed it to build the Temple of Jerusalem in Judah and brought the Israelites up to Jerusalem. It was also said that the local people would help them for goods and animals, and would also be happy to give gifts for the temple of God. The chiefs of Judah and Benjamin, the priests, the Levites, and those who were touched all arose to build the temple of the Lord, and the people on all sides helped with silver vessels, gold vessels, goods, animals, and treasures. King Cyrus took out the vessels of the temple of the Lord and handed them over to Sethbasal, governor of Judah.

In Chapter 2, among the descendants of those who had been taken captive by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and went to Babylon, those who returned to Jerusalem and Judah were Zerubbabel, Yeshua, Nehemiah, and Seraiah. Also with them were the children of Baros, the children of Shebadiah, the children of Arah, the children of Pahatmoab, the children of Elam, the children of Shaddu, the children of Zacchae, the children of Barni, the children of Beba, the children of Ashgad, the children of Ido Nigam, the children of Bigwai, the children of Adin, the children of Adel. , The children of Besse, the children of Jorah, the children of Hasum, the children of Gibbal, the children of Bethlehem, the people of Netophah, the people of Anathoth, the children of Asma, the children of Kiriathaim, and the children of Gebirah and the children of Beeroth, the children of Ramah and the children of Geba, the children of Mikmas, and Bethel. The Ai, the Nebo, and the Makbis are back.


(3:2)Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and his brethren, arose and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the Law of Moses the man of God.

In Chapter 3, the children of Israel gathered together in Jerusalem in the seventh month, and Yeshua the son of Jozadak, his brothers priests, Zerubbabel, and all his brethren rose up and made the altar of God, and offered burnt offerings in the morning and evening with all the crowds. They kept the Feast of Booths as they were. Also, although the burnt offerings offered at all times and the burnt offerings of all feasts were offered to the Lord, the area of ​​the temple of the Lord could not be released. He gave money to the masons and carpenters, gave food to the Sidonians and Tiremen, and had the cedars transported from Lebanon to the beach of Joppa. Zerubbabel, Yeshua, and other brothers began the work, had the Levites oversee the work of the temple, and the priests wore robes and praised Jehovah.


(4:3)But Zerubbabel and Jeshua and the rest of the heads of the father's houses of Israel said to them, "You may do nothing with us to build a house for our God; but we alone will build to the LORD God of Israel, as King Cyrus the king of Persia commanded us."

In Chapter 4, when the enemies of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the captives were building the temple of the Lord the God of Israel, they asked Zerubbabel and the chiefs to build them with them, but when they were rejected, the people of the land became the people of Judah. He weakened the hands of the people and prevented the plan by bribing Darius the king of Persia until he was enthroned.When Ahasuerus was enthroned, he accused the Lord of Judah and Jerusalem, and against King Artaxerxes the people of Judah were rebellious and wicked cities. It was already built, and it was said that if this city was built, it would cause damage to the king by not paying tribute, tariffs, and tolls. So King Artaxerxes ordered that the work be stopped, and it was suspended until the second year of Darius.
