나라를 사랑했던 한국교회 전통을 따르게 하소서
 
우리나라 교회사 속에서 역사하신 하나님, 이 땅의 교회가 개개인의 구원과 안녕에 초점을 맞추기 보다는 공동체와 나라를 먼저 생각하게 하시니 감사합니다.
 
한국교회가 걸어온 길을 기억하며 기도합니다.
 
성경이 번역되기 이전부터 성경을 읽고, 성경을 바랐고, 이 나라의 독립을 위해 기꺼이 죽음을 불사했고, 민주화를 위해 목소리를 높인 우리 신앙의 선조들을 기억합니다.
 
나라를 사랑하고, 교회를 사랑했던 신앙의 선조들의 발걸음을 우리도 따라가게 하옵소서.
 
특별히 나라를 사랑하고, 하나님을 사랑하는 바른 민족정신을 기르기 위해 한 교회가 한 학교를 세우고 교육한 그 길을 본받아 교회가 이 땅의 학교교육에 더욱더 갖게 하옵소서.
 
또한 가정에서도 국경일에 태극기를 걸고, 자녀에게 한국교회 신앙의 선조들의 모습을 가르치게 하옵소서.
 
가정과 교회와 학교안에서 자녀가 자신의 삶에 부여된 역사적 소명을 깨닫고 참된 해방과 화해의 시대를 넉넉한 품으로 맞이할 준비를 하게 하옵소서.

Let us follow the tradition of the Korean Church, which loved its nation.

God, who has worked in the history of our nation's church, thank you for leading the church in this land to prioritize the community and the nation over the salvation and well-being of individuals.

We remember the path the Korean church has walked and pray.

We remember our ancestors in faith who read and longed for the Bible even before it was translated, who willingly risked their lives for this nation's independence, and who raised their voices for democracy.

May we follow in the footsteps of our ancestors in faith, who loved their nation and their church.

In particular, may the church, emulating the example of one church establishing and educating a school to foster a righteous national spirit of love for our nation and God, take a greater interest in school education in this land.

Also, may families display the Taegeukgi on National Day and teach their children about the example of the Korean church's ancestors in faith.

May our children, within their homes, churches, and schools, realize the historical calling bestowed upon them and prepare to embrace the era of true liberation and reconciliation with open arms.
