기본적인 돌봄을 제공하는 부모 되게 하소서
 
하나님 아버지, 여호와의 주신 기업으로 자녀들을 부모 된 우리에게 맡겨 주시니 감사합니다.
 
하나님께서 축복의 통로가 되라고 우리를 불러 주셨는데, 그것을 가볍게 여기거나 자주 잊어버린 채 자녀를 소유물로 대하였던 것을 용서하여 주옵소서.
 
우리의 부모 되신 하나님께서 들에 핀 백합화도 입히시며, 만나와 메추라기로 이스라엘 백성을 먹이시고 돌보신 것처럼 우리도 자녀에게 먹이고 입히고, 건강하게 양육하는 것을 게을리 하지 않게 하옵소서.
 
건강한 음식을 먹이며, 적절한 운동을 함께 하여 자녀의 몸이 하나님의 성전으로 바른 역할을 감당할 수 있도록 인도하는 부모가 되게 하옵소서.
 
자녀가 살아가는 평생 동안 하나님께서 주신 몸과 마음을 말씀 안에서 지키고 보호하며 관리할 수 있도록 부모로서 모범을 보이게 하시고, 가르치게 하옵소서.
 
청지기로 부름받은 부모의 첫 번째 역할이 기본적인 돌봄을 제공하고, 안전한 환경을 만드는 것임을 잊지 않는 부모되게 하옵소서.

Let us be parents who provide basic care.

Heavenly Father, thank you for entrusting us, as parents, with children as your inheritance.

You have called us to be channels of blessing, but forgive us for taking this lightly, often forgetting it, and treating our children as possessions.

Just as God, our parent, clothed the lilies of the field and fed and cared for the Israelites with manna and quail, may we not neglect to feed, clothe, and raise our children healthily.

Let us be parents who feed our children healthy foods and provide them with appropriate exercise, guiding them so that their bodies can properly function as temples of God.

As parents, let us set an example and teach them to guard, protect, and manage their children's bodies and minds within the Word of God throughout their lives.

Let us be parents who never forget that the first role of parents, called stewards, is to provide basic care and create a safe environment.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
