1월 첫날의 기도
 
새 생명이 되시는 하나님, 이제까지 지키시고 놀라운 은총으로 돌보아 주셔서 새해의 첫 달을 맞이하게 하시니 감사드립니다.
 
생명 되신 하나님 앞에서 올 한해 저희 가정이 더욱 하나님을 높이며 하나님 한 분을 경외하는 가정이 되게 하옵소서.
 
우리 교회가 세상의 빛과 소금의 역할을 감당하며 세상을 변화시키는 복음의 터전이 되게 하옵소서.
 
이 땅의 학교와 교육의 영역에서는 하나님이 기뻐하시는 교육이 더욱 많아지게 하시고 모든 하나님의 아들, 딸들이 평안을 누리게 하옵소서.
 
새해에는 교회와 기독학부모의 가정마다 하나님 나라를 위해 마음이 가난하고 애통하며, 온유하고 의에 주리고 목마르며, 긍휼히 여기며, 마음이 깨끗하며, 화평을 전하며, 의를 사랑하는 복이 가득하게 하옵소서.
 
처음부터 마지막까지 오직 주님의 은혜로 경주하게 하옵소서.

Prayer for the First Day of January

God, who gives us new life, thank you for protecting us and caring for us with your amazing grace, allowing us to enter the first month of the new year.

Before God, who gives us life, may our family exalt you even more this year and become a family that reveres you alone.

May our church fulfill its role as the light and salt of the world and become a foundation for the gospel that transforms the world.

May the schools and educational institutions of this land increase in the education that pleases you, and may all your sons and daughters enjoy peace.

In the new year, may the churches and the families of Christian parents be filled with the blessings of being poor in spirit, mourning, meek, hungering and thirsting for righteousness, merciful, pure in heart, spreading peace, and loving righteousness for the sake of God's kingdom.

May we run the race solely by your grace from beginning to end.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
