직장생활로 바빠 자녀에게 무관심했음을 용서하소서
 
우리에게 자녀를 주시고 부모로서 자녀를 교육할 수 있는 특권을 주신 하나님 감사합니다.
 
이 아이의 삶의 주인은 하나님이시지만 이 땅에서 맡아 잘 기를 수 있는 사명을 우리에게 주셨음을 고백합니다.
 
그러나 때때로 우리는 직장이 바쁘다는 이유로, 집안에서 할 일이 많다는 이유로 자녀를 잘 양육해야 할 사명을 소홀히 여겼습니다.
 
학원비를 주고, 좋은 옷과 선물을 해 주며, 밥을 차려 주는 것으로 자녀에게 최선을 다한 것인 양 위안 받으며 살았습니다.
 
아이와 함께 시간을 보내며 즐겁게 놀아주고, 공감하며, 아이가 갖고 있는 재능을 잘 발견하도록 도와주는 일에 관심을 갖지 못했음을 고백합니다.
 
하나님, 우리가 바쁜 생활 가운데서도 자녀의 삶에 관심을 갖고 교육하는 부모가 될 수 있도록 도와주옵소서.
 
우리의 몸과, 마음, 영혼도 메마르거나 지치지 않도록 하나님의 생기를 불어 놓어 주시고, 하나님의 마음으로 자녀를 잘 양육하도록 지혜도 주옵소서.
 
예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Forgive me for neglecting my children while busy with work.

Thank you, God, for giving us children and the privilege of raising them as parents.

While God is the master of this child's life, we confess that He has given us the mission to raise them well on this earth.

However, sometimes, because of our busy work or the many things we have to do at home, we have neglected our duty to raise our children well.

We have comforted ourselves by thinking that we have done the best we can for our children by providing them with tuition, nice clothes and gifts, and meals.

We confess that we have neglected to spend time with our children, playing with them joyfully, empathizing with them, and helping them discover their talents.

God, help us to be parents who care for our children's lives and educate them, even amidst our busy lives.

Please breathe life into our bodies, minds, and spirits, so that they will not become dry or weary. Please grant us the wisdom to raise our children well with God's heart.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
