자녀의 학업을 학교와 학원에 위탁함을 용서하소서
 
사람의 걸음을 인도하시는 하나님, 하나님께서 자녀의 기본적인 돌봄의 책임뿐만 아니라 교육의 책임을 부모에게 맡겨 주심을 기억합니다.
 
부모로서 자녀에게 책임을 다한다고 하면서, 자녀에게 보다 효과적이고 전문적인 교육이 필요하다고 외치며 학원과 학교에만 자녀를 위탁하고, 깊은 관심을 두지 않았음을 고백합니다.
 
단순히 '학원에 보내면 잘하겠지, 학교에서 잘 가르치니까'라고 막연히 생각하며, 학원과 학교만 보내면 부모로서의 책임을 다하고 있다고 생각한 우리의 오산을 주님 앞에 내려놓습니다.
 
이제는 자녀가 학교에서 무엇을 배우는지 어떤 교육을 받는지, 자녀를 학교에 위탁한 교육의 주체로서 바른 관심을 가지고 점검하게 하옵소서.
 
부모의 도덕적, 종교적인 신념에 따라 자녀를 교육시킬 수 있기에 먼저 부모가 기독학부모로서 바른 교육의 가치를 확립하게 하옵소서.
 
자녀들을 부지런히 가르치는 것이 하나님이 주신 명령임을 잊지 않고 살아가게 하옵소서.

Forgive us for entrusting our children's education to schools and academies.

God, who guides our steps, we remember that You have entrusted parents with not only the basic responsibility of caring for their children, but also the responsibility of their education.

As parents, we claim to be fulfilling our responsibilities to our children, yet we confess that we have entrusted them solely to academies and schools, failing to pay close attention to them.

We vaguely assumed, "If I send my children to academies, they will do well, because the schools teach well," and we confess to the error of thinking that simply sending them to academies and schools was fulfilling our responsibility as parents.

Now, as the subjects of our children's education, please help us to properly monitor what our children are learning and receiving at school.

Since we can educate our children according to our own moral and religious beliefs, please help us first establish the value of proper education as Christian parents.

Please help us to live without forgetting that diligently educating our children is a command from God.
