온유한 부모 되게 하소서 범죄한 아담과 하와에게 따뜻한 가죽옷을 지어 입히시고, 살인자 가인에게 표를 주어 보호해주신 하나님, 출애굽한 백성들을 불기둥과 구름 기둥으로 인도하시고 만나와 메추라기를 내려주신 하나님, 이스라엘 백성들은 늘 하나님께 불평하고 불편을 끼쳤지만, 하나님은 친절과 선을 베풀어 주셨습니다. 하나님, 자녀를 사랑한다는 것은 이처럼 수독적인 사랑을 넘어서 때론 자녀가 우리의 마음을 상하게 하는 일이 있더라도, 늘 친절과 선을 베푸는 능동적인 행동임을 기억하게 하옵소서. 괴롭고 고통스러운 일이 있더라도, 그 때문에 분노하고 마음이 불같이 일어나 거친 태도를 보이는 것이 아니라, 오히려 더욱 낮아진 마음과 겸손한 자세로 평온함을 잃지 않게 하옵소서. 친절하지 않은 인생의 순간들을 만나 마음..
