쉼이 있는 교육의 의미를 알게 하소서
 
우리에게 쉼을 선물하신 하나님, 우리는 이따금 하나님이 허락하신 쉼은 일이나 공부와 반대되는 것이라고 오해할 때가 있으며, 쉬는 것은 안주하는 것이라 경쟁에서 도태된다고 생각하여 불안해 할 때도 있음을 고백합니다.
 
그러나 쉼, 곧 여가라는 것은 일이 없음이 아니라 '관조', 고요한 마음으로 사물이나 현상을 관찰하거나 비추어 보는 것임을 알려주심에 감사드립니다.
 
깊이 바라보고 비추어 볼 때 사물의 본질을 알 수 있고, 지식의 주관자 되시는 하나님에 대해 알아갈 수 있는 통로임을 알기에, 쉼이라는 것이 우리의 일, 학업과 분리된 것이 아니라 연결되어 있음을 놓치지 않게 하옵소서.
 
쉼이 무엇인가 열심을 내어 얻는 것이 아니라 그 자체를 누리는 것, 그 때 비로소 마음의 공간이 생기는 것임을 잊지 않겠습니다.
 
자녀가 쉼을 누림으로 인해 마음과 삶의 공간이 생기기를 원합니다.
 
그리하여 공부를 하면서도, 자신이 알고 싶은 지식을 조용히 바라보고 그 안에서 진리되신 하나님을 발견하는 기쁨을 누리게 하옵소서.
 
쉼이 있는 교육을 통하여 자녀가 하나님이 만드신 자신의 모습을 온전히 이해하고 알아가게 하옵소서.

Help us understand the meaning of an education that involves rest.

God, who gave us the gift of rest, we confess that we sometimes misunderstand the rest You grant as the opposite of work or study, and that rest is complacency, leading to our elimination from competition, leading us to feel anxious.

However, we thank You for teaching us that rest, or leisure, does not mean the absence of work, but rather "contemplation," the quiet observation and reflection of things and phenomena.

Knowing that deep reflection and reflection allow us to understand the essence of things and provide a pathway to understanding God, the author of knowledge, please help us never to lose sight of the fact that rest is not separate from our work and studies, but rather connected to them.

Let us never forget that rest is not something we acquire through striving, but something we enjoy for its own sake. Only then can we find space in our hearts.

I pray that my children will find space in their hearts and lives through experiencing rest.

So, while studying, may they quietly contemplate the knowledge they desire and experience the joy of discovering the truth of God within it.

Through a restful education, may our children fully understand and know themselves as God created them to be.
